Our Lathe Department, divided into two units (horizontal turning and vertical turning), can machine a wide range of products. Our horizontal turning lathes can turn up to 40 inches in diameter, and up to 160 inches long. Our vertical turning lathes can swing up to 12.5 feet in diameter.
The CNC Turning department at Technox has some of the largest turning centers in the Chicago, IL area. Most shops do not have turning centers that can handle very heavy parts that our machines can handle with ease. We have added more capacity to handle multiple quantity jobs. We have a Mazak M5n and also a Mazak Powermaster that can handle very complex parts and maintain precision in our work.
